Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe – Grand Opening

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe – Grand Opening

Hard Rock

Instead of a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony, the new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on the South Shore will celebrate with a grand ice guitar smashing.

On January 28, 2015 at 7:45 p.m., the new resort at the remodeled Horizon location is inviting the public to help them officially open their doors in grand style on the patio of the Fire Break Kitchen & Bar restaurant. Executives from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe, Warner Hospitality, the Las Vegas-based gaming and resort management company that manages the property; the Park family, owners of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe, and local and state officials will be present. The program will include remarks from property executives and dignitaries and the guitar smashing.

There will be a free concert that evening at 9 p.m. with Mojo Green, one of the west coast’s premier funk and soul bands, playing at Vinyl. Their new lounge, Vinyl, provides an intimate setting for singer/songwriters, classic rock n’ roll entertainment and comedians. Programming will include local favorites and tribute bands, open mic nights, comedy routines and late night dancing, as well as national touring acts.

The Hard Rock will be opening with two restaurants, The Oyster Bar and Fuel, as well as two bars, the North Bar and the Center Bar. Along with raw oysters, the Oyster Bar will serve New Orleans favorites, including hearty gumbos, rich pan roasts and traditional jambalaya. Fuel will serve just that, coffee, espresso, pastries, grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, and energy drinks.

During the Grand Opening weekend there will be more concerts including Uncle Kracker on Jan. 29; Skid Row on Jan. 30 and Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts on Jan. 31. Tickets for those shows go on sale January 14.

Grace Fasano and Jean Podrasky- Testimonial- Sept 2014

Michelle was referred to us by the owners of Black Bear Inn in South Lake Tahoe when we were purchasing a second home (primary home in San Francisco) as we had no experience with the market there. It turned out to be a very difficult property transaction and Michelle saw us through the whole experience. She’s a true advocate, and is there for you even after sale if you need her because she really cares about people being happy with their new home! She even had awesome ideas for remodeling that we never thought to do ourselves. I would highly recommend Michelle!
